Description

In August last year, Primark in Belfast City Centre caught fire. It is the loss of a key footfall generator in a historic building which has impacted the city centre economy.

On the 14th May, the next meeting of ATCM Northern Ireland will learn about Belfast's Primark experience, how the city is coping, and how local partnerships are working hard to support traders during a difficult period. This meeting will be helpful for those towns that have faced disruption locally or have faced the loss of an anchor store. We will hear about the work and ambitions of our hosts Destination CQ BID in supporting Belfast's Catherdral Quarter.

This meeting will also include the usual ATCM national update with a review of our Place Management Conference 'Death of the High Street?' and a preview of Summer School 2019: #FutureConsumer in London on the 26th/27th June.
